Change Management - Communications, The Key Element
The key element in carrying out a change management programme is effective communication - all stakeholders need to know and understand what all the different elements are, how they themselves fit into the change programme and what they can do to contribute. The conventional way to do this is using the ripple-down approach - passing a core message on to a team and then asking them to pass the message on and so on and so forth. However, there are several problems with this approach - messages are mis-understood and are therefore mis-communicated. Sometimes, important elements of some communications are missed out entirely. Additionally, the ripple-down approach can also take a lot of time to implement causing frustration and wasted effort.
Despite these major drawbacks, the ripple-down communication approach has been followed as no practical alternative has been available. Fortunately, Something Abstract. is now able offer a range of solutions which solve this problem directly, quickly, efficiently and at a moderate cost. Our range of solutions, which can be tailored to exactly meet specific requirements, can be configured to work quickly and directly.
