Digital Video Editing in Real-time with no rendering

This workstation from Something Abstract combines Adobe Premiere Pro non-linear editing software with the Matrox RT-X100 Extreme real-time hardware processing card to create a truly remarkable package. All the edting power and control of the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro, all in real-time. No rendering on wipes, mixes, digital video effects, titling etc.

For digital video effects, simply add the effect required to the clip and it is done. All ready for viewing or playing out. Make any required ajustments and again, as soon as this is finished, it is done. Simple as that. Wipes and mixes/fades operate in the same manner, just implement them onto the respective clip and it is done. Titling is just as simple, type in the characters which are automatically shown superimposed on the background video, save and implement them, instantly.

Combine this powerful functionality in a package that includes a dedicated Adobe Premiere Pro keyboard, Jog/Shuttle controller and break-out unit for input and output signals to form an excellent workstation at a reasonable price.

DVD Authoring and Creation

Included in this workstation is the lastest Adobe Encore DVD Authoring package. Using this it is possible to author and burn professional quality, fully blue-book compliant DVDs. Each step in the process is clearly laid out and yields high quality results.

Once the finished item has been edited together within Adobe Premiere Pro non-linear editing software, export it into the required format for DVD using the real-time export function included within this workstation. This provides fast transcoding to the DVD standard for video and audio.

Once done bring in or Import stil images, video clips and sound files into the Adobe Encore DVD Authoring system and lay out the project - background picture, buttons, logos, video and audio clips as required. Then make your master DVD. The result will be a finished high quality disk compatible with pc-based and stand-alone DVD players.

Digital Audio Multi-track Recording and Processing System

Another package included within this worsktation from Something Abstract is the latest version of the Adobe Audition multi-track recording system. Designed for professional use it has all the facilities required to perform full multi-track recoding in true digital audio quality.

Use all the standard faclities like drag and drop for audio clips and tracks, edit clips and apply a wide range of fully controllable effects like reverb, parametric equalisation etc.
